Beyond 3-D? Science is working to understand our 26 dimensions

We still get excited about 3-D but it may be interesting to remind ourselves that today we are aware of up to 26 dimensions.

Go to Wikipedia’s – superstring theory section to read more about this >>

If space follows the same fractal pattern of most natural systems we should expect our scientists to eventually discover that space itself is a fractal entity that has infinite number of dimensions.

But for now what types of understandings and innovations may we reach once we realize that 3-Dimensions are only the beginning of our understanding of dimensions?

How does this affect our current understandings in general?
