The easiest way to find disruptive innovation opportunities is to look for inhumane business models, anti-innovation models and anti-consumer business models.
The second easiest way to identify disruptive innovation opportunities is to look for closed systems and to propose open systems as a solution.For example, some business models out there try to lock users into 2-year contracts and other types of “closed systems” of commerce. Thes e types of business model are anti-innovative. It prevents the user from innovating through constant cycles of service evaluation and price comparison.
Anti-innovation business models in an innovation-centric economy will not survive.
